Designer porches

The porch does most of the living down here

A styled Southern porch: containers chosen like furniture, planted for shade and humidity, and kept on a rhythm you can actually maintain.

How we work a porch

Four decisions, in order

  1. 01

    Read the light

A deep overhang can drop a porch two full light categories. We measure what actually reaches the floor before choosing a single plant.

  2. 02

    Choose containers as furniture

Pots are part of the room, not an afterthought. We select scale, material, and finish to sit with your door, rail, and brick.

  3. 03

    Plant for August

Anything that cannot hold through a humid Georgia August does not belong on the porch. We design to the hardest month, not the easiest.

  4. 04

Set a rhythm you can keep

You get a watering and feeding schedule sized to your life, plus a seasonal swap plan if you want the porch to change with the year.
